Stop Complaining About Showcases

PISTV – VLOG 64 – Stop Complaining About Showcases

There may be some legitimate reasons to complain about a travel ball showcase tournament. Maybe they scheduled you for back to back time slots at fields an hour apart. Ok. Whatever.

What you should never complain about is the number of college coaches in the stands.

It simply is not the job of the tournament or event director to guarantee colleges are there to watch you.

That is your job! And hopefully the job of your travel ball coach.

So how do you get them there? Simple. You invite them. Seriously.

Make it easy to be seen. Invite them to come see you in person. Give them a reason to come see your game instead of some other game at some other event.

The “Cheat Sheet for Emailing College Coaches” should be helpful for this.
