net·work
/ˈnetˌwərk/

Verb

  • to cultivate people who can be helpful to one professionally, especially in finding employment or moving to a higher position

The recruiting process is such a good example of “life”…

Skill matters. But almost everyone has skill. Which means things like relationships, communication & networking become what separates prospects.

While we all talk about how important “networking” is, I rarely ever hear anyone discuss it in the terms I do… the noun & the verb.

If the noun version of the word is so important, then why aren’t we leveraging the verb version to grow the noun version more? Let me say that in English. If your network is so important, then why are we doing more networking, in order to grow that network?

I go deep into this topic in The Playbook. You’ll learn specific tactics to grow & leverage your network and as we all know, your network is king!
